Our course is approved by the Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC) for certification as an Occupational Hearing Conservationist. Participants who complete the one (1) day program at the and pass the examinations (both practical and written) are eligible for CAOHC recertification. Current CAOHC Certification is required for this course. If your Certification expires prior to March 11, 2021 you must request an extension here.
The course consists of both practical hands on learning and lectures. The practical components include Otoscopic Examination, Audiometric Testing and Hearing Protection Fitting. Sessions are conducted in accordance with CAOHC requirements with a ratio of one audiometer for every two participants and one instructor per eight participants. All equipment and material for these sessions is provided at the course facility. While not required, we strongly recommend each participant order the CAOHC Hearing Conservation Manual, 5th Edition.

What to Expect
The course instructors and participants will adhere to COVID-19 protocols as prescribed by the State of Colorado and the CDC. Due to the practical training and testing there is no online only equivalent for CAOHC Certification.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided however attendees will make their own arrangements for meals.
All course materials will be provided at the start of the course. Those that have ordered the Hearing Conservation Manual, 5th Edition will receive their textbook at registration on Day 1 of the course.
At the conclusion of the course a written online examination will be administered. Test results and certificates will be sent by CAOHC within 10-12 days.
